How connections are handled
Credentials for every integration are encrypted before they are stored on your device. Nothing is sent to a provider until the feature that needs it is used, and each provider only receives what that feature requires — a place name to geocode, a card number to check a balance, a file to upload.
Document storage is the clearest example: attachments go to the Drive, OneDrive, S3 bucket, or network folder you nominate. We never hold a copy. See the privacy policy for the full account of what each service receives.
